Scaringi - Bertol Atelier Shell Necklace

"New York jewelry design firm Scaringi - Bertol Atelier, a division of Tyler Cameron Fine Jewelry, has been chosen by The Walt Disney Co. to create the neckpiece for the upcoming production of “The Little Mermaid” on Broadway.

The necklace consists of a translucent lucite conch shell on a heavily-jeweled and encrusted braid of black silk threads and grosgrain ribbons, ending with a platinum-toned toggle clasp, embedded with opalescent stones and precious metals.
Scaringi – Bertol Atelier is also designing a line of sea-inspired jewelry, including bracelets, rings, pendants, brooches and earrings that will debut with its fall/winter collections.
The symbolism of “The Little Mermaid” grouping is transparency, coupled with patented special effects that create the illusion of shimmer and ripples. Each piece combines iridescence with precious and semi-precious stones. The line also features embedments such as vintage laces, antique ribbons, gold nuggets and silver spirals. Perez Hilton 'Ursula' picture (which one is she...)

World famous celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton recently posted a picture taken by Joan Marcus for Travel & Leisure magazine (October issue).

Sherie Rene Scott (right) backstage with director Francesca Zambello.

Her hair in the last picture, obviously due to lighting looked really pink, however i still cant get a grasp on the whole Medusa look they are going for. Also, i sure hope that is a wig, as all that hairspray can't be anygood for the ozone layer each night... :)

hmmm, I want one of those dressing gowns.

And here is Ursula in all her glory:

Poor Unfortunate Scott

This is the first picture that i have seen of Sherie Rene Scott as the evil vilianess Ursula. It isn't the best in quality in comparison to the past pictures of the production but i figure still post worthy. I know that it must be hard to portray an octopus/squid (lets not argue as to what usuala is ;) ) but i have to say she looks really green! And what are those spikey things on her tenticles exactly. She looks like a big alien... considering how wonderful 'Ariel's' costume is. Oh well, I just hope that Sherie can move under that thing!
